The Airline Training Academy of Miami is also known as ATA FLIGHT SCHOOL. We were founded in 2000, and have operated continuously serving the South Florida area. Our number one goal is to increase the interest in general aviation, and to provide flexible comprehensive training to students.
 
We cater to the student who wants to be a weekend pilot, as well as the student that wants to be a professional pilot. We have courses for instrument, commercial and multi engine ratings. We want to inspire people to fly,  just as we have been inspired. Our philosophy is to teach students good solid fundamental flying, while making flying fun. 

In the curriculum we incorporate time to just fly, and enjoy your self.

In South Florida cross country flights don’t  have to be to some obscure outpost.  We plan cross country flights to the Florida Keys, The Bahamas, Orlando, or any of the other attractions that Florida has to offer.

We plan cross country flights to the Florida Keys, where you can land and have lunch on the beach before returning.  You might want to fly your cross country to the Bahamas, where you can relax on a tropical beach and take a dip in the Caribbean before returning to base.  Another option is a cross country to Orlando, where you can bring a friend (if you're flying with an instructor) and visit Disney World, or any of the other attractions that Orlando has to offer.
