Private Pilot Certification Course Flying The C-150

The Private Pilot Certification Course allows the pilot to use an airplane for his/her pleasure, recreation, or business trips and carry passengers. The Approved Private Pilot Course offered by ATA Flight School can be completed in as little as 30 days; however, on average and at a leisurely pace expect to complete this program in 5 months or longer. It’s up to you and whatever fits your schedule and financing.
The minimum requirements for the FAA are 40 hours total flying time, of which 20 hours can be solo. The following price list contains all of the aircraft and instructor costs for your pilot license. All prices are approximate based on the FAA required 40 hour minimum.
40 Hours in a Cessna 150 (minimum)……………………...$3,160.00
20 Hours of Flight Instruction (minimum)……...……………$900.00
20 Hours of Ground Instruction (as required)………………$900.00
Total: $4,960.00
This program is based on the minimum time requirements of Federal Regulations. Time and hours over and above these minimums will be charged at school published rates. Fuel Surcharges are not included in these totals. Payments for all lessons are pay as you fly. If you would like to pay in advance, you will receive a discount. Financing is also available. |
