ATA Flight School
ATA is family owned and operated by professional pilots, and we give our students as much individual attention as possible.
  
We are a small school that features individualized instruction to suit your pace and your style of learning. You’ll be taken step-by-step through all the requirements for a pilot's license, and you'll have a great time doing it! We work them hard but we make sure that the student never forgets that flying is fun.

 
We have a fleet of seven airplanes. Three Cessna 172's  a Cessna 150 and a Katana for basic, instrument and commercial training.   A Piper Lance for High Performance Complex and Commercial training.  A Piper Seneca for twin engine training.  And later on this year we will be aquiring a Citabria for Spin, Unusual Attitudes, and Acrobatic training.

Every work/study station has its own computer to assist you
in training. The course features Jeppesen FAA approved curriculum on text, interactive DVDs, and individual instruction from FAA certified instructors.
 
Plenty of study area available. We offer Part 61 curriculum with competitive prices, discounted programs, flexible scheduling and individual attention. You’ll be taken step-by-step through all the requirements for a pilot's license, and you'll have a great time doing it!

 
Mission planing aides are always available. 

     ATA Flight School offers its flight students a one-on-one friendly training environment to learn how to fly. Your training course will be tailored according to your needs. Students have many options available to them that large flight schools cannot offer. Do you want your Private Pilot certificate in 4-5 weeks? Or do you want a self-paced program?

    One of the best things about ATA Flight School is where it is located.  Hollywood North Perry Airport (HWO) is towered and has four runways (8 if you count the reciprical runways) which are all hard surfaced.  ATA Flight School is located close to the departure end of the predominate runway.  You do not spend twenty minutes of you time and money getting to the runway. You are airborne five minutes after engine start, and in the practice areas in another five minutes.  Since HWO is predomonately used for General Aviation, the Tower is patient with, and accomodating to students.  For instance, if one needs Crosswind Landing Training, and traffic is light at the airport, the tower will change runways for you.

ATA Flight School is open 7 days a week from 9 A.M. - 6 P.M. Any time is available when requested.
