Private Pilot Certificate (PPL-H)

The Private Pilot License is where your helicopter journey begins. This stage focuses on foundational flying skills, aircraft control, and safety. You’ll learn to hover, take off, land, and manage the aircraft in a variety of basic flight conditions.

• Basic helicopter aerodynamics

• Hovering, vertical takeoffs, and landings

• Normal and steep approaches

• Straight-and-level flight, climbs, descents, turns

• Emergency procedures & decision-making

• Navigation & cross-country operations

Outcome:

You will be able to act as pilot in command for recreational or training flights and progress into advanced rotorcraft ratings.
